Founded in March 2020 during the COVID-19 crisis, FMIF has formed the following committees to deal with the impact of the pandemic and to provide resources beyond it.
Support for individuals and families, small businesses, and local charities
Over the last two years FMiF has helped our community through grants directly to individuals and families. During these years we are proud of what our community has been able to accomplish through this style of outreach. This Year 2023, we have moved to larger project grants to help the communities at a larger scale. The current grant program is still a work in progress however we will be updating our request forms in the fall to reflect the things we have learned this year and to make it more efficient for the community to seek help!
As the holidays and colder weather approach, we know that there are families that will need extra support in the coming months. At Fort Mill is Family, we want to make the holiday season as special as possible. Whether it's winter clothing, gifts for the kids, or a special holiday meal, we want to do all we can to wrap up 2021 with warmth and kindness. If you need a little extra support this season, or know someone who does, click here to submit your requests. We will be accepting requests until December 3, 2021. .https://forms.gle/5PySkdLZRZw9oGLt7 ... See MoreSee Less
